Small steps, Strong shield: The benefits of Exercise to fight COVID

This is a ground breaking study to support the benefits of Exercise to prevent serious symptoms of COVID.
(1) using objectively measured physical activity data to demonstrate a positive association between physical exercise and protection against adverse outcomes from COVID-19
(2) the data are from an African country where different SARS-CoV-2 variants were prevalent
(3) demonstrates a protective effect of physical activity even at less than recommended levels
(4) emphasises the benefits of physical activity across a range of chronic medical conditions.
