Tessa Sivak

Tessa enjoys being a part of a collaborative team focused on improving the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health of clients. She has counselled individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages.
Tessa trained as a social worker, counsellor, and EMDR therapist giving her a unique perspective on how individuals are impacted by the larger world and how to work alongside clients to improve their individual lives.
She is trained in a variety of models of trauma informed therapy (EMDR, Attachment Theory, CBT, Trans-personal Therapy to name a few) and has worked with people impacted by anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, addictions, pain management, gender identification, behavioural concerns, relationship challenges, caregiver burden, and significant life changes. Tessa uses mindfulness, art or creative expression, narrative techniques, and body-focused techniques to support clients to connect their mind, body, and spirit.
