Ellis Martin

PT, MScPT, BSc Kin

Born and raised in Port Alberni, Ellis has always known Vancouver Island as his home. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria in 2018 before taking a couple years off school to work at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. He then completed his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2022 at the University of British Columbia as part of their first full-time Northern Cohort in Prince George.

Ellis believes that education and empowerment are the two most important aspects of recovery. Taking a trauma-informed and client-centred approach to treatment, Ellis utilizes a mix of treatment options that include education, exercise, and IMS. He understands that no one is the same, and is happy to work with anyone to achieve their goals.

Ellis has a fondness for working with athletic injuries, but ultimately just wants to help people return to what they love doing, whether you’re a weekend warrior or someone who was injured at work.

In his daily life, Ellis often spends time playing in local recreational sports leagues (hockey, soccer), enjoying board games with friends, or watching hockey!
